I love Adventure Boot Camp! I was turning into a doughy middle aged woman. My personal workouts were sporadic and lacked intensity. I’ve been with ABC for six months and I can honestly say I am the fittest I’ve been in my entire life. It is such a great feeling to be strong! The “veteran” boot campers are really inspiring with their commitment to fitness. Everyone is so encouraging. Its the right mix of challenge and encouraging support.
As a physical therapist and board certified orthopedic specialist I can honestly attest that ABC workouts are comprehensive, safe, effective and soooo much fun!
Jeff’s 5:30am boot camp is my sanity vacation every morning! Initially, I signed up for boot camp to “jumpstart” a workout routine after a very long absence from regular exercise. I told Jeff that my only two goals for that first day were not to pass out or throw up. Once I made it past that first day, each subsequent day became small steps of progress, despite setbacks from old injuries. Besides his favorite mantra of “eat more veggies!” Jeff encourages “progress, not perfection”. Those three words are what have kept me coming to boot camp and focused on goals each month. Goals are an important part of the boot camp philosophy. Looking back at the progress I have made each month perpetuates my commitment to exercise and feeds my self-confidence to push myself more and more. It’s easy to let work, family, and the “curveballs” life throws our way to keep us from making time for exercise and our health. I always make time for boot camp because it’s fun, every routine is different and Jeff is engaging, enthusiastic, and energetic. Working out with Jeff and the ladies at boot camp are the best way for me to start my morning, before my “real day” begins!

I’m a SAHM and have always put the family before my needs but when I turned 40 I told myself that this was the year I was going to get fit. Well 40 came and went, so with renewed determination I signed up at a local gym on my 41st birthday and hired a personal trainer. In working with the trainer I was able to drop 18 pounds in 10 months. I had started as a size 18 and was now in a 16. A friend of mine invited me to try Adventure Boot Camp and see if I liked it and as they say, the rest is history.
I had found my niche. Everyday was a new workout, no growing bored with the same routine and the level of support was incredible. While all this working out was going well I still had not changed my diet. With daily encouragement through e-mails and turning in a food log to Jeff every Friday, I was able to implement some of the healthiest food choices I’ve ever made and come to really like them.
In the period of three camps I dropped three dress sizes. I was now fitting comfortably in size 10’s. I continued to rein in the diet and signed up for a whole year of Adventure Boot Camp. With Jeff’s help I’ve been able to drop 38 pounds in 7 months and am now in a size 6. Shopping for clothes is now something to be enjoyed not dreaded and feared.
People ask me all the time how I did it. That I must have lots of will power. My answer is always this…I have no will power whatsoever. What I do have is determination. Determination to change for the better, to not stay the same, to continually refine my diet and my workouts and make me the best I can be. Won’t you come join me?
My life is crazy! I am 34 years old, I work full time, go to school time, I am wife and I have two wonderfully busy children. For several years I have tried and failed when it came to getting in my workout. I was trying to get it done in the afternoon, which is just impossible with everything else I have on my plate. Even though I am not a morning person, I decided to give Boerne Adventure Boot Camp a try. The ladies in the 5:30 group are wonderful, and Jeff is pretty awesome too! Most of them have been working out for many, many camps! Everyone works out to the best of their ability, and there is no pressure to push yourself harder than you feel comfortable. This was really motivating for me! I am finishing up my second camp and still loving it! I have more energy than I had in my twenties! My kids love that mom is so happy in the morning these days. I am have committed to this for a year and I can’t wait to see what changes are in store for me. Thank you Jeff!
Just wanted to say THANK YOU! and let you know that I went to the doctor today for routine follow up and my AC1 had gone from a 7.0 to a 6.3! I have been on diabetic medicine for almost 4 years now. Also I have been on 10 mg of lisinopril for high blood pressure. Yesterday I was taken off of the Glimepiride and my lisinopril was cut in half (not kept on that anymore for high blood pressure but just for kidney protection due to diabetes)! Plan is for four month check up that if all continues as it has been that I hopefully will be taken off of the Avandemet. I’ll keep you posted! Guess this means I need to sign up for one of the memberships!
Boot Camp is kicking my butt but saving my life!!!! Thanks for all of your encouragement!!

I signed up for the 3-day-a-week Boot Camp to get a kick-start into a routine of exercising. My intention was to do it one session, then get busy on my own. I had no idea how fun it would be, and what great, measurable results I would get in only 12 workouts! It was no problem getting up early to go – because I looked forward to it and felt great afterwards for the whole day because I really accomplished something! Each day was something new, tough, and inspiring. I loved it and now I can’t wait to go back!
I enrolled in the Summer Camp II for the month of August 2010. I needed a jumpstart to get on the road to better health. Not only did I gain strength, tone and lose weight thru the exercise program, I completely changed my diet by eliminating processed sugar and 90% of the grains, only eating healthy proteins, vegetables, fruits and keeping my body hydrated with water.
Katherine encouraged us to keep a daily food journal. By doing this, you make a conscious effort to watch what you are eating. It was truly amazing at how much better food began to taste. I am the Dessert Queen, and if I can come off processed sugars any one can. It is unbelievable how I don’t miss the sweets at all now.
Another outstanding thing happened as a result of Adventure Boot Camp. I will start with a little background info: I was diagnosed with Sjogren’s and arthritis in my knees with joint swelling in my hands in July 2009. My ANA test were off the charts at 1560 in July 2009. This past April 2010, it had dropped to around 1260 (Some improvement). I went for testing on August 20, 2010 and my ANA had dropped to 640. The only thing that I have done different in this time span was to attend Adventure Boot Camp and change my diet in August 2010. My blood test showed no inflammation in my system and there was no swollen joints in my hands. I truly believe that along with the exercise and taking the processed sugars out of my diet is what made the ANA drop so dramatically. All of my results greatly encouraged me to sign up for another Adventure Boot Camp without any hesitation. Thanks, Kathrine, for your dedication and teaching to assure a healthy lifestyle for others to achieve.
This camp has definately been exactly the right thing at the right time for me! I had been losing some weight, but it was hard to stay motivated and consistent with the weight loss. ABC boot camp was exactly the jump-start I needed. It’s so much more than just meeting that exercise quota. The veteran ladies are supportive, Kathrine is always encouraging, and even though sometimes I grumble about getting up early, I know I will *always* feel better after camp and the workout is worth it!
That first week was the hardest…we work hard every morning, and the muscles feel it, but I have more energy, feel stronger, have a better metabolism and I know I’m exchanging fat for energy-burning muscle! I am also more aware of what I put in my body. You also just never know what you are going to wake up to, with such a large variety of activities that you can always modify to your level. I will say, burpees are evil, but I can finally do one! Love ya, Kathrine and my fellow campers!
I have completed two sessions of Boot Camp. I have throughly enjoyed every aspect of this exercise group. Not once was I bored. The weeks go by so quick, you can’t believe the month is over. I was suffering from restless leg syndrome. It kept me from sleeping at night. It is all gone. I sleep like a baby nowadays. I have lost a dress size and that is a bonus because that has never happened to me just by exercising.
The exercise classes are just the beginning. I look forward to receiving an email every day full of encouragement, tips and guidelines for eating clean and keeping hydrated. New recipes and exercise techniques just keep on coming every day. I now have a whole new direction in my path to good health. I decided to pay for this program and not pay my money to the nursing home. My life has changed for the better and it will continue to get better with all my new found healthful information. When I started boot camp at the end of May, 2010, I had never really run before and I maybe could run two of the five laps for the timed mile. I am now running all five laps and my new time to beat is 9:09. Also, I could not do any push ups on my toes and this last time, I accomplished 50, then small rest and then 10 more, small rest and did 50 more on my knees! Thanks for all your support and encouragement. This is best I have felt in a long time.
P.S. I will continue to work on that planking! : )
Don’t think if you have a bad shoulder or bad knees or any other under-par body part, that Boot Camp is not for you! Kathrine always has modifications for anything that ails you! Even though I work out with braces on both knees, my overall strength and feeling of well-being have greatly increased. I am physically stronger and much more flexible. You will be amazed how much better your aching knees will feel when your muscles in your entire body are stronger….AND you lose weight.
I am so tickled about the results in my assessment today….not just that they were better than I expected…but because
EVERY single camp since last August I have shown improvement. Bootcamp works if you do!

For years I have been a very “sporty” gal. After 2 children, 4 moves in 2 years and a huge adjustment from city girl to country girl my body took on a new form. My “sporty gal” self began to become weak in many forms. Many mornings I would walk or jog just to clear my mind, stay somewhat within my dress size (although it varied by 2 sizes occasionally) yet, I never REALLY reached that level of strength (physically or mentally) again UNTIL I began Adventure Boot Camp. Jeff Seale puts working your body into something FUN. He is a motivator both physically and mentally, a nutrition coach and sometimes a comedian. Also, it is an all women camp, which makes it so very comfortable. Everyone is there for many different but yet the same reasons…to feel strong again, to know they are taking control of their health, to lose weight and to just start their day off in a positive manner. The women are inspirational because they try! Not only do we need to stay strong for ourselves but for our families. This next camp will be my 4th and I do not plan on giving it up! Thanks Jeff for all you do!
I GAVE UP DIET DR PEPPER ON MAY 20TH AND I HAVEN’T LOOKED BACK! I’ve had 4 or 5 sitting in my fridge since then and I haven’t even been tempted to touch them. AND…. I’m running (and walking) a 5k w/ my hubby for his 41st bday on August 14th! I never would have done these things without the confidence and support I gained from Adventure Boot Camp. With the nutritional information I received and the daily workout, I was able to lose 8% body fat, almost 15 inches and gained a new respect for my body in four weeks. I am addicted!! I absolutely love going in every morning to start my day with Jeff and the amazing friends I have made. Jeff is an incredible trainer and makes everyone feel comfortable. He truly cares for each of his “campers” and his positive attitude is contagious. There are not enough words to say how ABC has changed my life in just one short month. I still have a long way to go but this is the first time in my life I have felt confident that I will succeed.
This goes out to anyone who has ever tried to exercise and failed. Your boot camp is the perfect answer to them. I was one of those people—joined clubs and that was about it! You are a tremendous leader and constantly work with us to improve, yet take care of ourselves along the way. The early hour allows anyone who works to still work out and become the best that they can be. I also love the early hour because there can be no excuses for not doing it, because what else can you do at 5:30 a.m.? I know they will say “sleep”, but it is amazing what you can do with the rest of your day if you get up early. The fact that your workout is BEHIND you is a great feeling…no dreading going to the gym or walking after a long work day.
Anyone who knows me would be amazed that I was able to keep going. I truly hope that anyone reading this will put serious thought into joining us at Adventure Boot Camp, because I can attest to the fact that ANYONE can make great strides in their health and overall happiness with this program. The camaraderie of fellow boot campers, their encouragement, and friendship—along with expert leadership and encouragement—will change their world!

I feel better already!! And I still have more to go. I am so encouraged after 4 weeks of Boot Camp. I have improved in my exercises, feel alive and alert, and rise up early in the morning ready to go. AND I have lost inches, I have improved my hydration level, and I feel a heck of a lot better than before I started ABC. Thanks for your encouraging support and valuable information. I will be starting on my fifth camp this April. I am truly astonished at the progress I’ve been able to make. I am 57 years old, and believe me, at this age, once those pounds are on, they are like CONCRETE. I’ve always said I have to “chisel the pounds off”.

orks. #1 – it’s a challenge (I like challenges). #2 you have to get up REALLY early (I don’t like getting up really early, but since I’m doing that, I’m not about to eat junk food and undo the good I’m doing before 6:30 in the morning). #3 It’s fun!! #4 The support of our fellow campers is amazing.
Just coming to boot camp does wonders for everyone. When you ADD the healthy eating tips and hydration to the workout AMAZING things happen to your body. I always knew my metabolism had hit rock bottom, but , your metabolism rev’s up dramatically, and when you start seeing results, it’s not hard to keep up “the good work”.
I am so glad a friend told me about boot camp. It has truly changed my life and now I am not only young at heart, I feel 20 years younger. In fact, I plan to go snow skiing next time I go up north (no cameras please!)
I recommend boot camp to everyone, no matter what age you are. There is no condemnation for those who cannot jog more than 30 seconds without wanting to stop (that would be me). All I did was challenge myself a little bit more every day. And I got stronger. You will too!
I want to tell you how much boot camp has changed my life. Words cannot begin to describe!!! I have literally learned more in 4 weeks with you than any other time in my life. My food journal goes everywhere with me, I have planned, packed and learned about the foods I put into my body every day. My cute husband and I get up early in the morning together and work out as a team TOGETHER! If it hadn’t been for boot camp, we would still be sitting on the couch talking about working out and eating healthy instead of actually doing it.
Last weekend I lifted my shirt up and said to him “Look at my rockin’ body!” He smiled and talked about how proud he is of my hard work and efforts. We grocery shop together, read labels together, work out together, eat together… Boot Camp is a marriage enhancer!
Again, thank you so much for all your hard work! You made boot camp fun, exciting, energizing and have literally changed my life! I’ve never felt better! I know you put in a ton of work each month. Thank you for making the very first Kerrville Adventure Boot Camp such a wonderful, dynamic, and challenging fitness experience! It was certainly a WORKOUT, and a true “adventure” from the beginning until the end! Every day I was amazed at how much each and every one of us accomplished. I will be age 54 in just a few short weeks, and I have been in and out of fitness programs for many years. I also have tried various “diets.” When I read about the Kerrville Adventure Boot Camp, I decided that I truly needed something different.
Well, it has been different, and it has been AWESOME. This 4-week camp was the best combination of fitness and nutritional health that I have ever experienced! Not only did I lose inches, but I improved in other areas too! I am stronger, I feel better, and I can feel the changes in my body and overall health. An extra bonus is that pain from osteoarthritis has dramatically decreased. It has certainly been a life-changing experience, and I appreciate all of the direction and the nutritional advice.
I encourage ladies of all ages and all fitness levels to check out Adventure Boot Camp. There is a spot for all of us in this program, and it may be your time to do something for yourself. Okay … let’s be honest … the first question everybody asks about Adventure Boot Camp is … WILL I LOSE FAT??? The answer … YES!!! DUH!!! But let’s get to the nitty-gritty of this program – you get out of it what you put into it and Kathrine makes sure you put forth nothing but your best. She is extremely passionate about what she does and genuinely cares about each soul participating in those 5:30 AM workouts. Speaking of those early morning workouts … if I can do it ANYBODY CAN DO IT! The benefits of this regimen are far too vast to list in their entirety; however, let me just bullet point a few of them for you:
1) Your energy level throughout the day is incredible. Keep in mind that the more energy you have, the more calories you burn … that’s fat, ladies!!!
2) The discipline you gain from this regimen overflows into other areas of your life … responsibilities and goals seem to get accomplished quicker and with more enthusiasm.
3) The camaraderie, accountability and teamwork are priceless. This is a program for

Yes, in three weeks time I’ve lost weight and inches. But, besides the fun and intense workouts, Adventure Boot Camp is about strengthening your inner core…it’s about life choices and it’s about living life! I will continue with this program throughout the year.
I had plumped out and could no longer fit into my clothing! I finally realized that after two years of trying “my way” to get rid of the extra pounds that I simply wasn’t going to be able to do it with minimum efforts. In addition to wearing an unacceptable clothing size, I was tired all the time, seemed to catch all the bugs that were floating around, and I had “old people” aches and pains. I obviously knew that exercise and good nutrition were necessary to get me on the right track, but for me, a fairly structured program was going to be necessary. What to do, what to do . . . then a friend showed me an ad for Boerne Adventure Boot Camp. . . .
Initially I enrolled for the January, 2009 session only, then February . . .and I was hooked. It’s now October 1, 2009, and I can truthfully say that this has been a remarkable experience. I’ve lost the extra bulk, firmed up beyond what I thought a 48-year old could, “old people” aches and pains have disappeared, and because of the healthy eating habits that Jeff CONSTANTLY pounds on, I no longer seem to catch every flu virus, etc. that comes down the pike! Jeff makes each day interesting and fun–his program is extremely well-planned, and I’m not sure how, but he manages to motivate me to always push myself just a little further, which is quite a feat, because, hey, it’s 5:30 a.m., and I don’t want to be motivated at that hour! But I am!
Most importantly, Jeff has a genuine desire to see you succeed and become a more healthy individual. He gets real excited when your hydration levels go up, which cracks me up, because I’m way more concerned about what’s going on reduction-wise!

You’ll become addicted to the exercise, develop friendships with the other women, and you’ll be bowled over with the results you’ll get from the excellent training, inspiration, and nutritional support that Jeff provides.

When I started Boot Camp, I had really let myself go. I was tired all the time, I was overweight and unfit. Vacuuming my house made me tired. My cholesterol was high as well. I saw the ad in the paper for Adventure Boot Camp and just decided I had to do something to help myself. That was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Jeff is a great trainer with the knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to help you reach your goals. I am so proud of my success. I have lost 40 pounds, lowered my cholesterol, gained my self confidence back and feel like I did ten years ago. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I am 47. I went from busting out of a size 14 to fitting back into size 10’s again. I remember thinking on some of those cold winter mornings that all those squats and bridges were going to get me back into my skinny jeans. It worked. The support from Jeff and the other women at camp are fantastic. I am so grateful to Jeff and glad he is here to work us into shape. He makes it fun and interesting so you do not feel like you are really working (most of the time…) and everyday is different. Try it!
I moved to San Antonio from Toronto, Canada August 2008. I went to the doctor to have a physical a normal procedure and they found that I had a left bundle block in my heart. I was very concerned as my father and mother both died in their early 50’s of heart failure, and my brother at a young age of 32 had a stroke. I suddenly realized that I needed to figure out how to get healthier and stronger if I wanted to live to a ripe old age. I had several test done and the end result was that I had a mild cardiomyopathy. As the doctor explained the (ido) in cardiomyopathy means they really don’t know what the issue is, so they joke the medical term refers to them as idiots…so I got a laugh out of that. My doctor suggested that I enter an exercise program that would strengthen my heart muscles and increase my endurance and then be tested again for any improvements. I go back in mid February for my test.
I came across the ad for this class and in all honestly my first thought was 5:30 that’s nuts…then I gave it some more thought and came to the conclusion that I needed help to be able to accomplish this huge task, and Jeff was just the person for the job. I am proud to say after 4 weeks of brutally cold weather on some days (and yes I’m from Canada), pushing an SUV (I hated that), running when I hate to run, I have accomplished so many things that I am proud of. Thank you Jeff for being a wonderful and patient coach if it wasn’t for you I would not be where I am today. I am happy to say I accomplished the following goals.
1. I can actually jog a mile without stopping (could not even get through 1 lap before I started)
2. I can hike for over an hour without having shortness of breath and feeling like I’m going to die.
3. I lost 12.6 lbs in 4 weeks
4. I lost 5 inches on my waist (woo hoo)
5. I lost 3 inches on my hips (my husband will thank you for that)
More importantly than all of those things I feel so much better and have more energy than I have had in a few years. I would highly recommend this course to anyone that is considering a life change and needs the jump start to make that happen. I have met some wonderful women as well, its a great opportunity to meet and develop friendships in the area. Thanks again Jeff, and I will see you at the next class…
I had reached a point in my life where I had accepted feeling sluggish and tired. I was middle aged, overweight, achy knees and ankles, and becoming weaker by the day. I just didn’t know it! Meeting everyones needs and being a good wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, business owner, etc….. was what I did, and I enjoyed it. I adore my family. I just got lazy in caring for myself.
Boot camp was and is the answer so many of us are looking for. I feel like I have a new sisterhood with the women at camp. We have so much fun! Jeff does everything the correct way so that our bodies warm up for cardio, weights, ab work, (and more!) and then cools us down. When I leave at 6:30 in the morning I feel so good and look forward to the day.
Jeff is very respectful to all of us, compliments us, encourages us and keeps the work outs so creative that we are always learning something new. I am dropping inches and fitting back in clothes I have not worn in a very long time. BUT…..even better than that is the way I feel mentally and emotionally.
Besides having the privledge of teaching little children about Jesus Christ, boot camp is the best thing I have done for myself in many years.
Hearing Jeff say “Push It! , You got this!.” ” Your’e getting stronger!” and of course our cheer, “HOT ROCKIN BODS!” is an energy booster!

age 51 and getting stronger by the day!
I lost 5% body fat during my first Boot Camp experience, which I am thrilled about! I had expected to lose some inches, but I got so much more for my money. Each workout was fun and different, I had a serious decrease of stress to handle business issues easier, and made some new friends…As another bonus (a little embarrassing to confess), my snoring has come to a halt! I’m signing up again next session!
I want to thank you for kicking me in the rear and getting me moving, even at 5:30 in the morning! You and your program were just what I needed to get back on the fitness bandwagon from which I had fallen from 6 years ago (after the birth of my son). I consider myself blessed to have rediscovered the healthier me before it was too late to set a great example for my kids. I have no doubt that, because of you, I will be able to persist and push through the coming obstacles as I further my “health training”. I now have muscles that I never knew I had before and strength that I haven’t felt since high school! My posture has improved dramatically, and possibly best of all, my lower back doesn’t ache anymore. Bootcamp was my motivation to stop making excuses for my inactivity, get off my butt and change my lifestyle! I couldn’t be happier.

I cannot express how much I have enjoyed this experience. I know I had a slow start, with the rib incident and all. But this is my second complete camp and I am enjoying it so very much. It feels good to have a purpose right now. For so many years I forgot about me and now I am finding myself everyday. My decline started 22years ago. I was married in August of 1986 and on September 25 I was driving home from classes at Schreiner University and was in a really bad car accident. That is when my initial back injury happened. I was always very athletic in high school. You know the one that got all the awards, Most athletic, MVP, and All-District. That was me, then my back got injured. Then the miracle of my son happened. I became a mom. It has been the most rewarding experience to date, but during the mom-dom, I got lost. I put all my energy into becoming a good mom. Over the years with the back pain and the busy schedule, I lost Judy. I finally had back surgery in 2000 and started my long journey back to me. I have steadily become more and more aware of my health. I watched my dad go thru a long and painful 7 years with arthritis and decided I did not want to put my family thru what I went thru with him. My health and my well being took center stage. March of 2009 will be 3 years since I had a lap-band done. I have exercised and retrained my mind for the new me. I have learned new ways to cook and shop. My family has gotten healthier because of this, too. So when I saw the add in the Boerne Star for Boerne Adventure Boot Camp, It was like it was destined. It is so awesome to have you, with your positive, push-it, push-it every morning. And the inspiring women that get up before the break of dawn every morning to do this, too. I have actually started to feel myself get stronger during this last camp. My goal was to lose a dress size, which I did. I have toned and tightened a lot. It is such a good feeling. Today was the end of my first Adventure Boot Camp experience. And while I am relived to be done, I will most definitely miss the early morning comradery of the fantastic group of ladies I met through Boot Camp. Jeff is an outstanding teacher who makes each workout, truly, an adventure. He mixes things up, changes the routines around, and never lets things get dull or predictable. I had wondered how he could possibly be a personal trainer to all of us (around 30 signed up), but he was. He learned our names quickly, communicated regularly, took time to answer questions and take an interest in our individual goals and concerns. Jeff is incredibly knowledgeable about fitness and nutritional matters, and he matches this with great energy, enthusiasm, and a contagious, cheerful, fun-loving attitude. He is a joy to be with – even at 5:30 in the morning!
I came into this camp already committed to physical fitness. I learned to swim as a child, competed through high school, and continue to swim several times a week. I taught aerobics in a studio in my college days, and am a runner, having completed a marathon. A friend invited me and so I said yes, but I did wonder if I would really be challenged. I learned a lot and was seriously challenged! My whole way of exercising and eating has been changed. It is as though a “reset button” was pushed and everything from the past cleared and all made new. This camp has been one of the most pivotal experiences of my life. I am eating so much healthier, exercising smarter with newly learned skills and drills, and I feel stronger and more confident about my body than I have since I was about 18 years old. My ending stats met and exceeded my goals. I lost several pounds which was fun to see, but more surprising, and of even greater joy, were the inches I lost from my waist, hips, thighs, and seeing my body fat percentage decrease significantly. Pants I was not comfortable wearing slide right up and on now. I am confident that I will continue on this new path of eating right and exercising smarter. Boerne Adventure Boot Camp has been an incredible motivator in my life! I feel like I have been given the opportunity to really change my habits and look and feel good. My body has already gone through so many changes during these few weeks and the strength and tightening I am experiencing are mind boggling. We all need to be pushed and that is what this has done for me.
I am having to have a bridesmaid dress altered again before my sister’s wedding, I’ve gotten smaller already! YAHOOOOOOO
If you are looking to make a lifestyle change, to get in shape, live healthier and happier, then The Boerne Adventure Bootcamp with instructor Jeff Seale is a must! I highly recommend joining Jeff in the wee early morning hour (5:30AM). It’s better than a cup of caffeine and more rewarding than the extended hour in bed. It’s a great way to welcome the sunrise, and you will have your metabolism up and roaring before many people even think about waking up. Seriously, I drove from Helotes, Texas (30 minutes one way) and I promise it was worth the drive! In fact, if my schedule permitted, I would be a regular. Do the math – it’s great deal for the buck!
Truth of the matter is if you are serious and ready to make the change, then Jeff is a great agent for support and encouragement. His workouts are fun and intense yet adaptable to individual ability. He truly designs the workout in such a way that you don’t focus on the exhaustion and you reach higher levels of performance. I improved in every baseline physical measurement and endurance test (times and weights). As an added bonus, Jeff supplements the camp with valuable written support material regarding nutrition and total body wellness. He even gave personal recipes that were tasty and healthy. My point is that Jeff goes beyond the call of duty, and you will find that he truly cares about the overall wellbeing of his clients. One last point, to my surprise I really enjoyed the group setting. The ladies were pleasant and supportive.
It was an overall great experience and I am confident that I have created healthy habits that I (and my family) will continue to practice. Thanks Jeff! Once again I would like to say that your Boot Camp has been a total success

The things I liked are:
1. Each day the workout is a new adventure. No repeats.
2. You are entertaining, positive, very knowledgeable and professional
3. You give alternative ways to do the activities to accommodate injuries,
4. You provided a gradual but persistent increase in the level of the
workout as the days went by thereby increasing our fitness level
gradually but effectively
5. Each hour was so much fun that I didn’t think much about the difficulty
of the workout
6. I can see a definite change in my muscle tone – Now I have some!
7. I don’t know how many inches I have lost yet, but I can tell by my
clothes that there has been a positive change.
8. My energy level has increased tremendously

This experience has been the most fun exercising I’ve had in years. I even joined the Saturday hike at Freidrich park (even though I had a packed day planned) because I didn’t want to miss out on the camaraderie. I have enjoyed the emails and nutrition advice. I definitely have more energy already and can face those 10-hour days at the office with a better attitude. I even remember to “tighten my core,” while I’m typing contracts. I’m planning on signing up for the next boot camp too because I want to the morning exercise to be more ingrained as a lifestyle. Can’t wait!

I feel stronger and more disciplined to start something and finish it!” This Boot Camp is motivating, stimulating and challenging…everything that I lacked during my own workouts. Adventure Boot Camp helps jumpstarts my day everyday. I receive dedicated personal instruction – I couldn’t ask for anything more in an exercise program. I pulled a muscle in my ankle on the third day of camp but did not stop. The variety of activities helped me participate in one-way or another. There is no stopping me…I just had to modify some of the activities, which Jeff assisted with and who is a great motivator. I really enjoy your class and Jeff you are an inspiration. Thank you for being so upbeat and considerate of everyone’s different physical levels, I have never felt so included in a class before. I particularly like the variety of activities and the sense of fun that’s built into the program.

When I first heard about this camp I thought this is going to be a beating, and I really didn’t feel like getting yelled at while I am trying to improve myself and self esteem. I showed up for the Nutritional Seminar and that was a lot of information that has proven to help me out throughout the camp. My friends attended the camp and their motivation and cheering me through every obstacle helped out A LOT!! I met a lot of other beautiful women in my community who I hope to continue to share a friendship. I will attend the next camp and enjoy it just as much as the first one, my energy level is through the roof and my inches gone will never come back. Thanks, Jeff for everything.

I looked into attending boot camp a year ago but it was in San Antonio and logistically couldn’t do it. I also let my family talk me out of it. They all said it would kick my butt, that I was too old (I’m 56). When I saw the ad for boot camp in Boerne in the local paper, I signed up right away. I knew I wouldn’t be able to keep up with the younger crowd but I knew I could do it and I am so glad I did. Boot camp has far out weighed my expectations. Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. I actually look forward to going every morning. And the rewards have been great. I am so excited about the great results I have seen in just 4 short weeks that I signed up for the next boot camp. I can’t wait for my post-camp assessment. (Wish I could do it on Friday.) Thanks!!! I have had several girlfriends come up and tell me how great I look since boot camp! I can actually wear some pants that were way too tight before I started. And, I can see muscles in my arms that I haven’t seen for years!

By now most of us know that the new definition of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. But when my walking buddy suggested boot camp, I thought she was crazy. I immediately thought of all the reasons this was a bad idea. “How would I ever get out of bed?”, “I can’t afford to do this right now.” Then the little voice inside my head said to me, “This is your chance to change your life”. So I pulled out the credit card and signed up. I have decided this is an investment in my future.
Is it working? You bet it is. It’s a slower process than I would have hoped but I had dug myself into a pretty deep hole. I am starting to see the light at the top. Most amazing to me was how fast I felt better. I thought I would be on my knees that first week but suddenly I was walking taller, sucking in those abs.
Jeff’s Boot Camp really is the most fun I have had exercising. He is inspiring, encouraging, motivating and silly. And trust me, at 5:30 in the morning, a little humor helps. You even forget you are working out because you get so focused on the task at hand. It’s a blast. As an added bonus I faced my terror and jumped off the Zip line tower and went hiking for the first time in years. I am even eating breakfast and fruit. Clearly scary.
My goal from the beginning was to surprise my son in December. I haven’t told him I am doing this and I want him to see a new Mom when I fly out to California. Without Jeff and my new workout buddies, I couldn’t have pulled this off. I’d still be doing the same thing and expecting different results.

I loved the experience from start to finish. You have a great way of leading and your followers benefit from your enthusiasm and knowledge. I felt pushed and challenged but never beyond my personal abilities. I gained strength and the drive to go further and harder than I had before. My day never failed to be off to a great start when I first sweated under the pavilion at Northrup Park. I especially loved the times when we did mat work under the stars. Beautiful!
God has blessed you with an amazing talent and the way you share it with others is what makes it truly worthwhile. Keep doing what you do and I’m sure I will return.

You can really get a group energized at 5:30 in the morning. The daily communication through email is awesome, it helps us to continue making healthy decisions even when you are not around. <p”>When asked by my friend, Rachel, to join her in Boot Camp, I couldn’t imagine the thought! I hated early morning hours, exercise, drinking water, and sweating! But she kept talking and I found myself signing up the day before the session started. I decided it was time to invest in me and my health!
And guess what? I have come to LOVE early mornings, exercise and even sweating!! My hydration increased 10% and I crave water now!!! I have so much more energy for the day, it is unbelievable! At the end of the four weeks, I had lost 6 pounds of unwanted fat, gained a pound of bone, and trad 16 pounds of muscle, and lost 12% of body fat! I’m hooked because it works if I work it! When I signed up for ABC I was thinking I would give it a try for one month and probably fail miserably. I was worried that my fitness level was so much lower than the other women that I would be left behind. I already had a gym membership (that I never used), I tried every single diet out there with decent results in the first week or two until I lost interest or was starving. I could not figure out why I kept gaining weight?? I blamed it on everything but the truth…I just had not found the right program to lead me to a healthy lifestyle!! On my first day of ABC I met some amazing “veterans” that helped me through the workout, which I found challenging, but I was able to do it based on my own fitness level and not anyone else’s. After one week, I noticed my energy level had doubled throughout the day and by week four I was unstoppable.
